This is pretty much for people who watch anime and think they are "Otakus". Rant section so opinions really don't matter not even this post.
Otaku the word that is thrown around especially more than love. The reason why I despise this word is because us American anime watchers think just because we watch mainstream anime we can use it or if we know some stupid meme from it. I mean c'mon if we all know a character from one trait like Cloud we all know him for his Buster Blade. It obviously makes Otakus Right?!
WRONG!!
Honestly I never use this word I hate it, but when people use it or throw it around it pisses me off. Its derogatory in Japan but "Cool" in UhhMerica this is why we get looked down upon by Japan. They think we are stupid and idiotic because of you people who think "Just because I know simple Japanese phrases and watch anime I'm an Otaku.(Extremely derogatory term for an idiotic Japanese nerd)
Now there are groups even fan pages of people like this. If you are in one of them you can not deny that you are one of them. Because you are.
There are only a few number of people who I can say completely understand with me.They watch anime too and have a clear understanding and knowledge of it. Pretty much they friggen love it. But they dont go around using such a term.
There are a lot of people who are exactly like what I described.
