i just Brought BF3 and on the assault class one game it will let me use the ak next the m16 anyway i can use the ak all the time?

Those are the default guns for the assault class, AK-74M is the RU gun and the M16A3 is the US gun they change depending on which team you're on. You can use the AK-74M whenever you'd like, but you must get a service star with the assault class first = 220,000 score = All assault guns unlocked.

There just default classes you can change them when u want
