Ive just got my new rig up&running
Im using a Gainward GTX560ti GPU with a VGA Cable, but for some reason im stuck on a 1280x1024 resolution
It should be running something around 1920x1200 but the highest available to me is the one im using
Ive searched the web for answers but found nothing, any help, will rep to who ever helps fix it

Go into your bios and set your video size to 1920x1080 I had the same problem and that fixed it!
EDIT: You also have to update your video card drivers

That's part of the problem. Get a DVI or HDMI cable. Also, do you even have the drivers for the card installed?

Why would you use a VGA cable? It is not as good as a HDMI cable.

try Going into your video card options and turning off ounderscan looks like this for ati, maybe something close for Nividia cards [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and also, some forms of output like VGA have lower resolutions than HDMI or DVI. Also if u could fork out 40 bucks u could get a nice HDMI cable and it would be a lot easier to manage the small cable.
