my jtag cant connecty to my retail on cod black ops it says you must have an active network connection to play system link

How have you tried to connect them?

They should both be connected to the same router and both be on the same dash.

You need to have both xbox's plugged into your router via Ethernet cord.

If that doesn't work make sure you have the latest title updates in your cache for black ops.
