Ok now im all for jtags and just finished my 1st, but here is something i noticed form putting 20+ hours into building my own Jtag,
The kids who want to do 10th lobbys and think there gonna make bank, what they do is they go and spend $250 on a piece of hardware they have no idea how to use, and then come on the boards complaining because they cant edit there patch or install xex menu!
Now I know someones gonna look at my recent forum use and see i was trying to get help with some problems of my own, But these were genuine problems I had while making the Jtag and dumping the NAND, which I believe is ok to ask about because its an exceeding difficult task with an lpt cable
But because there was so many topics being made about how to do system link and how to make patches, I was left in the dark about how to do this (the jtag tut that is stickied does not show how to dump a NAND) so in my frustration I went to se7ens, and found all the info I needed to get a succesful dump.
So my main point is kids who dont know about Jtags should not be getting them at all!
Wasting them with Mw2 modding only!!

yea, many people don't know that you can mod halo games with a jtag. or do almost anything with one

By all means please post a tutorial on how to do it so i can add it to the jtag thread for future preferences.
People can buy them if they want, TTG is a community that should be willing to help members providing they have the knowledge, yes it is annoying the fact people buy without researching but that is life.

Oh yeah? Not being able to go online without a kv? Barely making any money off of the lobbies? Yeah, It's really worth it.

You clearly believe all things revolve around call of duty, Jtags are for much, much more than going online
