The chanes are slim that we will ever find out. If the government finds out about some sort of mass riot or uprising plan which they would if something like that would be planned they will undoubtably move it to another secret location while some soldiers stay behind and hold off the civilians. The existance of area51 hasnt even been proved yet.. so we dont even know if there is anyhing there. It would be useless bloodshed.

Being of a high rank in the military also grants you to enter and being sworn that you will never tell anyone what is in Area 51.
