Okay, sooo. I bough Terraria through Steam this afternoon, and it's been giving me nothing but problems.
First, it was saying how .NET Framework 4 wasn't installing, and neither was the XNA Re-Distributable.
HOWEVER, I FINALLY got that aspect of things to work, and now I get..
CLR error: 80004005 whenever I try clicking on the actual .exe,
OR
The game won't launch in Steam..
HELP?!?!

Well one thing is that steamworks is installed on Terraria so you can't launch it without steam running (So you can't just open the .exe in steam folders)
Example of what should happen:

What i suggest doing is this:

And re-install it, see if that fixes the problem, if not. re-install .Net framework 4.

Thank you for the suggestion. I've tried un-installing and reinstalling:
-Terraria
-The Steam Client
-The .NET Frameworks
-The XNA Frameworks

I also have the same problem, Terraria simply will not start in Steam. I have re-installed Steam, Terraria, DX9, .NET Framework 4.0, and XNA 4. I actually did get the game to work for a night by updating the system with a .NET update, but the next day I had the same problem.
