Hello TheTechGame forum surfers!

I have currently been seeing topics on how to make a good topic, or is this a good topic. Well, your days of asking are over. I will be providing you with some useful tips on how to make a decent topic on TheTechGame. So, let's get started.

*There are posting tips right above the Subject area while posting a new topic. These should be some helpful tips on making a good topic subject and a post itself.

*In those posting tips there were two links that were clickable, they were Search and Community Rules. Those two MUST be followed in order to get full credit for the post, and to be following the rules at the same time.

*Next to the subject and under the body paragraph, there is a spell check button that is clickable to be able to check your correct spelling and grammar.

*Now there are some extra add-on effects that TheTechGame has added to make topics more interesting and more noticable.

I'll tell you what all of those symbols mean in the topic editor, but first lets start off with the text alignment icons.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This symbol means when you change the alignment of the text you can click this and it will align back to the normal text format.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This symbol means when you want to make your text align to the right side of the page, click this icon.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This symbol means when you want to make you text align to the middle of the page like the text at the top of the post.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This symbol means when you want to align your text to the left side of your page.


Now we can move on to the next "section" on the message icons.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *These icons mean that if you want to make your text size extra small, then click on these.


Now, in this next "section" i will show you what the letters do to your text.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon makes your text bolder than it actually should be.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon makes your text in italic print, fancy.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon makes your text have a underline under your text.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon makes your text have a strike through it.


In this next "section" I will show you the icons to add tints to your text.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon adds a fade to your text. (Internet Explorer Only)
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon adds a gradient text, also (Internet Explorer Only).


This next "section" I will show you the icons to align your message box from Right to Left, and Left to Right.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to make your message box align from Right to Left.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to make your message box align from Left to Right.


In this next "section" I will be showing you the icons to make you text move in these following directions on the page, up, down, left, and right.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon lets you move your text up the page, not interfering with any other text.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon lets you move your text down the page, of course, not interfering with any other text.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon lets you move your text left across the page, not touching any other text.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon lets you move your text right across the page, not touching any other text.


This next "section" will show you the icons to code, quote, and spoil things.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon lets you code something that can be viewed more, viewed less, select all, and view plain.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon lets you quote someone in text from a post.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon lets you put any amount of text in a box that can be made bigger or smaller.


In this next "section" i will show you the icons to insert a URL link and an email address.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to insert a clickable URL link to a website. *note: The link you enter can't be anything like, TheTechGame.[webs].com, has to be TheTechGame.com, or anything similar to the last one.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to insert an email that is also clickable in the post.


This next "section" I will show you what icons a image, flash file, stream file, real media file, Google video, Vimeo movie, Youtube movie that can be used in your post.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to insert an image to your liking.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to insert a flash file.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to insert a stream file.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to insert a real media file.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to insert a Google video.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to insert a Vimeo movie or video.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to insert a Youtube movie or video.


This next "section" will be showing the icons to make your ordered things into a list, and to put a break line in between new thoughts and/or ideas.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to make a ordered list (can add bullets).
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This icon allows you to make a break line in between thoughts and/or ideas.


This "section" will show you the one and only icon to remove BBCodes.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This one and only icon allows you to remove BBCodes.


This next "section" I will show you is the types on how to change your font. There are three ways to change your font and they are font type, font size, and font color.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This option allows you to change the type of text you want.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This option allows you to change font size to your liking.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *This option allows you to change the font color to your liking.


This last and final "section" is to show you all of the emoticons that are available to you.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] *These are all of the emoticons that are all available to you during any point in the post.
