so i was playing bf3 on my pc for the first time and it was extremely laggy. do i need a new graphics card or what do i need?

Try turning down the graphics settings to start with. Lag is usually caused by your internet connection. But u believe playing BF3 on pc puts alot of strain on GPU so if the internet isnt playing up then yes i would recommend getting a bigger graphics card.

Well...to start, listed your PC specifications wouldn't do any harm. BF3 is no Facebook flash game to tell you that much. You could be lagging due to a series of reasons - whether it be your *place GPU here* is finally choking and can't keep up, or your in-game resolution is just not realistic, too much AA, CPU/GPU bottlenecks. I'd recommend downloading Speccy and HW-monitor to see your PC specs in detail and see your temperatures to make sure everything is in the clear.
