Look at the 911 call. George said he was following him himself then muttered a racial comment then about 30 seconds later Trayvon was killed.

He had the right to defend his neighbourhood/life. Trayvon was a thug, he got what was coming to him.

Zimmerman was a neighbourhood watch. E.g, basically a cop. He had the duty to protect his community & Trayvon was, in his opinion, acting suspicious. He had a deadly weapon because he has the right to defend him self.. in the scenario.. of lets say, a 6+ foot drugdealing thug attacks him. Oh wait that did happen.

The shooting Trayvon thing was a bit far, but I'm so **** tired of everyone making Trayvon out to be a perfect, innocent, little boy that just wanted some skittles. As previously stated, there is evidence that Trayvon had Zimmerman on the ground, and was assaulting him. While I agree that Zimmerman took it way too far, Trayvon wasn't exactly shot for no reason either.
