i dont get why the school had to pay it the kid who did it and his family should. the money that had been payed is tax payer money

That amazes me that you would rather have $4.2M and go through nearly dying several times and not be able to walk for the rest of your life. I certainly would rather live my life the way I do right now than having $4.2M and not being able to walk.

He looks happy with having $4.2 Million dollars, but I'm sure any paralyzed person would rather be able to walk again over money.
