Hey there TTG, I am finally going to go get my permit, lol...I was suppose to when I was 14, but I was too lazy, and now Im getting it now!

I just wanted some tips on what I should study in the handbook, and what kind of questions are in the book. I would really appreciate it if you had exact answers so I could just use those!

Thanks guys,
Esa

It depends what state you live in. There's tons of manuals online you just have to search "Your state driving manual" -- Say you're in CA: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Go to the DMV and ask for a Driver handbook (If already dont have one) And then take 1-2 days to study (Read the whole handbook). Then go back and take the test.

The writing test isn't that hard but it does have some tricky questions in there.

Well I live in NJ, and on the DMV site there's a pre-test I can take that would prepare me for the actual test. Try to find it on yours.

Honestly the test is mainly common sense questions but there are some badly worded questions.

So I would recommend just being prepared for anything.

It's nothing more than common sense. I remember when I got my license a few years back I was asked the following question:

When driving through a forest which of the following should you be cautious of:

a. Animals
b. Hidden Driveways
c. Trees
d. All the above

If you have common sense you can easily get your license/permit.
