The title says it. I was looking through the forums and saw it. I have seen it on Xbox a couple times but what is it? what can i do with it? and is it free?

Minecraft is a game, with a world created from cubes, where you can also, build everything you want, and there's a survival mode. You have to build your self a home, created weapons, slay other creatures and just simply... survive.
