I have a question..
So.. The double xp has ended about 1 hour ago, right?

Basically, if you leave your xbox on while it's still double xp, and you wont shut it down, will you keep getting double xp?

Yes however you will only be able to play on playlists with other people who also still have double xp. Eventually there won't be enough games to continue .

Yes but after a while if people dont have the double xp and you do on the playlists it will go away.
