So I'll be working all this next summer and I've been working all school year to save up for a car to buy myself. So please only respond legitimate and helpful answers. How much would you spend on a car if you had $14,000 and what type of car?

I don't know much about cars but I know I can get a pretty decent one for this much. So anyone got any advice for this?

Heck yeah you could get a decent car with that!

Do you like to drive it hard and show off your engine or are you the kinda guy that is eco friendly and likes to save gas?

Not really either, I don't like to rev the engine and waste a couple gallons of gas but I don't want to buy a hybrid.

You could go [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and look

But you could go with a Infiniti G35, what I have now, and I absolutely lover it, good on gas and still sporty

Personally, For a first car I would buy something used but drivable. Save the rest of the money for gas/Insurance and touch ups.

First car doesn't need to be anything special.
