Take it apart, Open the disk drive, Clean the lens.

Sometimes the spinner will be out of place to, Just push that back into the right spot. (If it's all the way in the back, Push it back to the front.)

Look up tutorials on youtube if you don't know how to open a 360.

Is the tray stuck and wont open? There is a little hole on the side of the xbox you put a screw driver in it. Then it pops out.

It's the laser inside. You'll need to manually open the xbox + cd drive and move the laser. It happened to me 20+ times & that's how I fixed it. It hasn't happened for over a year now

I fixed my Xbox recently, it had the same problem just open your xbox (look up videos for that) then take the disc tray box "thingy" out and clean the lens with a q-tip, or the lens would be pushed back and you will have to move it forward. I did both good luck and watch out for any dust.

probably just a messed up disc or you need to tighten the screws on your laser

This may sound crazy but it works.

Unplug everything and take the disc out.

Take the faceplate off

now hold it with the disc tray facing down

(firmly)

Shake it HARD in an up and down motion a couple times.

Plugin and try to play the disc.

if it works then good, but if it doesnt repeat some steps.

+rep? lol

or just tap the side of the xbox as soon as the disc starts to read and when it reads install to your hard drive.
