Bypass Firewalls


What Does This Do?
This allows you to get around firewalls that stop you from getting to certain websites. For example, at school, game sites may be blocked.
What Programs Do You Need?
Command Prompt
Notepad

NOTE: If you can access command prompt already, open it, and skip to step 5

Steps
1. Open Notepad

2. Type the following:
@echo off
start commmand

3. Save as "cmd.bat"

4. Open "cmd.bat"

5. In commmand prompt, type:
ping [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
where the "?"s are, put the name of the site you want to access

6. Press Enter

7. You will see the same number repeated and it should look like an IP Address

8. Type that number into the address bar of your browser


Done! The previously blocked site should now be accessible.
