First of all, The Elder Scrolls came out in 1996, Runescape(looked it up) came out in 2001! Magic is in all games, so are elves and Skyrim Dwarves are really elves. And dragons? Everyone has had Dragons. No where near each other.

Clearly you dont know what you are talking about since Runescape was made in 2001 and the 1st Elder Scroll was made back in 1994! and you dont know the concept of skyrim being in a magical medieval time period and to top it off there are more games based on that imaginary timeline so how bout you do some research before you start complaining about something you know nothing about and FYI skyrims graphics are 20x-30x better then Runescape

ILukeX wrote Hello, my fellow TTG users, I just want to explain the FACT that Skyrim is a carbon-copy of Runescape.
Lets look at the facts;
1) Runescape was developed before Skyrim, and any of the Elder Scrolls games.
2) Skyrim has magic, which is fine however the spells are far too similar.
3) The creatures in Skyrim are identical to Runescape, including their designs.
4) Even the QUESTS in Skyrim are similar to Runescape.
5) Oblivion is better than Skyrim.
6) Bethesda are lazy.
7) They copied Runescape with dragons.
8) The mountains are similar in Skyrim/Runescape.
9) Jagex > Bethesda.
10) Dragons were copied, Jagex had them first.
11) Giants, as above ^
12) The ranged combat system is too alike.
13) Magic, melee copying the Runescape combat triangle.
14) Arrows were copied.
15) The trees are copied, I bet they even stole the code.
16) The ability to cut wood.
17) Smithing is copied.
18) The coins were copied.
19) The ability to level skills.
20) Dwarves + elves.
21) Frost dragons.
22) Dragon hides + bones as loot.
23) The ability to mine + smelt ore.

As you can see with the above features, the aforementioned games have a lot in common, coincidence? I think not! Bethesda should rethink their strategy, and maybe produce a mind-map with some new ideas.

Also - one final note in which I will finish, Skyrim and Runescape both have equally bad graphics, something both companies ought to strive to improve.

Thanks for reading TTG users!

Better question.....Why should we care? Last I checked from my own RS adventures and private servers I created and played on.... the difference to RS and the Elder Scrolls is beyond fathomable..

RS is dungeons and dragons...
Skyrim is dungeons, vampires, werewolves, dragons, wolves, assassins and we have pets..
RS has limited character customization and one race.
Skyrim has a varied character customization menu and mulitple races.
RS level cap is 99 on skills.
Skyrim is 100.
RS is basic java codes and graphics..
Skyrim is advanced Java and HD 3D graphics that are stunningly realistic.
RS has no real movements of the environment.
Skyrim I can drift away in a river.
RS has boats.
Skyrim has carriages and a dragon you can ride.
RS is multiplayer.
Skyrim makes us wish it was multiplayer.
RS maps are shit.
Skyrim's map is **** wicked.
RS excludes players from going places.
Skyrim isn't discriminating kinda.... racist ass nords..trolololol
RS can't really be modded on heavy scales like characters, monsters, environmental etc..
Skyrim I can mod everything.
RS cyber is funny to watch...
Skyrim is porno now....and we love it.
RS has arenas and duels..
Skyrim has undead chasing your ass through halls and fist fights with mercs.
RS has no assassin's or theives guild or awesome raspy voiced doors.
Skyrim does....

I have solved and rested my case.... Welcome home.

I know you're wrong, just read number 5

"5) Oblivion is better than Skyrim."

Skyrim is way better than Oblivion.

Just saying, but if you don't have some of those things listed, is it really classified as an MMO?
