When i turn on my Jtag.. its starts to boot up then goes to a black screen saying E71 Error.. With 1 Red Light.

Any idea my friend said its like a Christmas Light Kv or sumthing? Any Ideas?

Also I do not know how to reflash so if anyone could help it would be great:)

im not exactly sure what error code i had but it was that my hdd was not connected correctly?

i got that when i had a usb in or once when i clicked the wrong file on the MW2 bit

First, turn it on then take everything out of it even your HD. Second while you still have it on get two towels. Wrap bothe towels around the xbox. THAT WAY IT WILL GET OVERHEATED AND THE FAN WILL TURN OFF. Third, once you hear the fan turn off unwrap it and plug everyhting back into the xbox. Fourth, once you have plugged everything in turn off your xbox then turn it back on. SOMETIMES IT WORKS AND SOMETIMES ID DOESN'T.

don't do this it will **** your xbox and if it works omly for a day or 2 + that is 4 3 red rings

How to fix E71:

If your power supply cords are not plugged in securely, you may see one flashing red light when you turn on your Xbox 360 console.


Disconnect and reconnect your power supply


1.Turn off your console.



2.Disconnect the power cord from the back of your console. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and the power supply unit.

3.Reconnect all three connections making sure they are secure.

4.Turn your console back on.

If this solution worked, your power button should look like this:

Yup, tried that already a couple times acutly:P

Nope maybe its like a hardware failure? Maybe cuz of a bad Kv?
