The reason behind this, is so that area 51 will also have the space-sky, to give it that post-apocalyptic feel. You aren't really supposed to see the earth. So, from a realistic, developers point of view, you aren't supposed to see the earth, it is simply a flaw in the design. I'm not saying that the developers of zombies won't make it part of the story, but all the earth is is just a developers flaw.

But wouldnt it be as easy to have spotted this flaw if you were a developer? Maybe area 51 is on another planet, I dont really know though, Hopefully treyarch come out and explain or something...

The rockets hit the eart but... hmm theirs not aclear ending to this

No, would make no sense that Area 51 is another planet. My theory is the the rockets blew Area 51 from the earth. And now it's floating in space.

Area 51 is in Nevada. People that work there get a plane from Las Vegas.

My explanation; they blew up part of the moon. That's why when you teleport back the sky is all red and stuff, like after a nuclear explosion it towns up dust and radiation. Area 51 was mostly un effected from the blast andwill have some significance on the next zombie storyline. Like maybe aliens got infected from the 115 that was released into the atmosphere around area 51. Trust me when I say in the next zombies there will be, new wonder weapons, aliens, time travel and/or teleporters. There will also be monkeys that are also infected and/or infected by radiation. From shangri la you saw a space ship take off. I have a feeling that the Easter egg will involve space travel and/or a space ship and/or making a new weapon that has something to do with radiation. I'm saying and/or because I belive that they will have one or the other or both.



Edit: I think the earth is at area 51 because they wan't you to notice that the earth is not all the way destroyed or it's a design flaw.

The reason why You see earth blown up on moon is because you had to travel into the future to blow it up.
So when you came back to area 51 it had not happend yet.
Question solved.

So could area 51 be a new map in zombies?

But how could it of not happened yet if you let the rockets off and u quickly get back to the teleporter and go to area 51 and the earth blows up a few seconds later...
