because it was simple back then without pro perks, over powered killstreaks, and people didn't care about stats. now cod is a bunch of 8 year olds saying they are going to hack you.

i personally didn't like it because the skill that everyone talks about is every single person using the exact same weapons, the mp5 was a 2 bullet kill, and sniping got annoying because it was all trickshots, collats, and non-sniper warfare. Why not just make a single shot kill assault rifle and have a marksmen scope attachment?

Although the pros of the game were needing your team to eliminate someone sitting with a high killstreak and the creativity of the levels, not just 2 story buildings and instakill bridges. Getting on top of a warehouse was an amazing idea. They need roaming situations in CoD, not just the same vantage points, just gets really repetitive.
