Animal Allegiance

This Shout enables you to charm animals not already under the control of others. Rank 1 has a small radius and lasts 30 seconds, rank 2 has a medium radius and lasts 45 seconds and rank 3 has a large radius and last 60 seconds.


1) Inside Angarvunde in The Rift
2) Inside Dragon's lair in Ancient's Ascent
3) At the top of the mountain above Ysgramor's Tomb. You can either exit through the upper door after you complete the Companion Quest Glory of the Dead, or climb up the side of the mountain and get to it earlier.

Aura Whisper


This Shout enables you to detect life even through walls of all nearby creatures, living or undead. It is silent however, and so can be used without being detected. Rank 1 lasts for 10 seconds, Rank 2 for 20 and rank 3 for 30.


1) At a Dragon's lair at Northwind Summit.
2) In Volunruud during The Silence Has Been Broken Dark Brotherhood quest.
3) In the tomb, Valthume, just South East of Markarth.

Become Ethereal

With this Shout you become ghost-like, making you immune to any damage but also unable to attack or cast spells. Youll still recover magicka and stamina, however, so great for evading danger at the last minute. Rank 1 turns you ethereal for 8 seconds, rank 2 for 13 seconds and rank 3 for 18.

1) Inside Ustengrav from The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller
2) Above the Lost Valley Redoubt, south of Bard's Leap Summit (can be found alongside Hroldir's Shield)
3) End of Ironbind Barrow in Winterhold Hold

Call Dragon

As obvious as it might sound, this Shout summons the dragon Odahviing to your side in battle, though you must be in an outdoors area. It will only work with all three words.

1) High Hrothgar After the main quest, you can still summon Odahviing outdoors, but you need to utter all three words. You will receive all three words at once.

Call of Valor

This Shout summons a hero to your side to fight alongside you in battle. Each rank summons a different hero: rank 1 summons Gormlaith Golden-Hilt, who is equipped with a bow, a sword and a shield; rank 2 summons Felldir the Old, who uses a greatsword and has a few damaging Dragon Shouts and rank 3 summons Hakon One-Eye, who wields a battleaxe.

1) Sovngarde, Call of Valor is automatically learned during the main quest.

Clear Skies

Using this Shout disperses clouds and clears away fog and poor weather. It also dispels the any poison gas traps. Rank 1 lasts for 25 seconds, rank 2 lasts for 40 seconds and rank 3 lasts for 60 seconds.

1) High Hrothgar Clear Skies is learned during the main quest The Throat Of The World.

Disarm


As the name suggests, this Shout disarms attackers by knocking their weapon out of their hand. Rank 1 will affect enemies up to level 12, rank 2 will disarm enemies up to level 20 while rank 3 will affect the maximum level of 30.


1) There's a Dragon's lair at Eldersblood Peak.
2) Speaking With Silence (a Thieves' Guild quest) takes you to Snow Veil Sanctum.
3) Silverdrift Lair

Dismaying Shout


This Shout causes enemies to run in fear. Rank 1 affects enemies up to level 7, rank 2 affects up to level 15 and rank 3 affects up to level 24.

1) Lost Tongue Overlook, where you'll encounter a Dragon.
2) Pieces of the Past takes you to Dead Crone Rock.
3) Shalidor's Maze in Hjaalmarch.

Dragonrend


Using this Shout in a fight with a dragon forces it to land on the ground. Rank 1 will last for 15 seconds, rank 2 will last for 18 and rank 3 will land for 22 seconds.

1) Dragonrend is automatically learned during the main quest Alduin's Bane.

Elemental Fury

Using this Shout increases the speed of your attacks, each rank lasting for 15 seconds. Rank 1 increases speed by 1.3, rank 2 increases it by 1.5 and rank 3 increases it by 1.7.

1) Shriekwind Bastion
2) Dragontooth Crater
3) In The Break Of Dawn, in the Kilkreath Ruins in Haafingar. (By the Statue of Meridia)

Fire Breath

As you might expect, this Dragon Shout breathes fire on your enemies. Rank 1 deals 50 points of fire damage, rank 2 deals 70 points of damage while rank 3 deals 90 points of damage.

1) Dustman's Cairn during The Companions quest Proving Honor
2) Sunderstone Gorge
3) Found in The Throat Of The World

Frost Breath

Like Fire Breath, but deals frost damage over five seconds, while it will also slow your enemies. Rank 1 deals 10 points of damage over five seconds, rank 2 deals 14 points of damage and rank 3 deals 18 points of damage.

1) Skyborn Altar during a Miscellaneous quest.
2) Folgunthur in Hjaalmarch. Requires the side quest Forbidden Legends
3) Bonestrewn Crest in Eastmarch.

Ice Form

This Shout sends out an ice blast, freezing any enemies in the area and dealing two points of frost damage over time. Rank 1 freezes enemies for 15 seconds, rank 2 lasts for 30 and rank 3 lasts for 60 seconds.

1) Saarthal near the end of Under Saarthal
2) Mount Anthor
3) Frostmere Crypt

Kynes Peace

Using this Dragon Shout calms any aggressive animals in the area. Rank 1 affects a small area and lasts for 60 seconds. Rank 2 has a medium area of effect and lasts for 120 seconds while rank 3 affects the largest area and lasts for 180 seconds.

1) Shroud Hearth Barrow in Ivarstead during/after the Investigate the Haunting Miscellaneous Task.
2) End of Ragnvald
3) Rannveig's Fast

Marked For Death

Using this Shout weakens your enemies armour as well as dealing damage over time. Each rank of the shout lasts for 60 seconds. Rank 1 deals 1 point of damage a second and reduces the enemies armour by 25, rank 2 deals 2 points of damage and reduces the enemies armour by 50 and rank 3 deals 3 points of damage and lowers the enemies armour by 75.

1) In The Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary
2) In Forsaken Crypt
3) Autumnwatch Tower

Slow Time


As the name suggests, this Dragon Shout slows time, helping you rush in and defeat enemies or escape assaults. Rank 1 slows time by 70% and lasts 8 seconds, rank 2 slows down by 80% and lasts for 12 seconds while rank 3 affects 90% and lasts 16 seconds.

1) The Jagged Crown quest in Korvanjund, behind the throne at the end.
2) Hag's End
3) The Staff of Magnus takes you to a Dragon Priest lair.

Storm Call

Using this Shout will create a thunderstorm in the area, with lightning that strikes enemies in the area. Note: it will only work outdoors, and is great in a fight against dragons. Rank 1 summons a storm for 60 seconds, rank 2 for 120 seconds and rank 3 for 180 seconds.

1) High Gate Ruins while following a lead given to you by courier.
2) During The World-Eater's Eyrie, you'll be taken to Skuldafn.
3) Forelhost in The Rift.

Throw Voice

This Shout can be used to direct your voice to an alternate area, drawing enemies to investigate the sound. The only difference between ranks is the decreasing time required before it can be used again. Rank 1 has a rebuild time of 30, rank 2 with 15 and rank 1 with 5.

1) You learn all three Words at Shearpoint, where you fight both a Dragon and a Dragon Priest.

Unrelenting Force

This Shout blasts your enemies, staggering them or sending them off their feet. Rank 1 has a weak strength and deals 2 points of damage, rank 2 has a medium strength and deals 5 points of damage while rank 3 has a strong force and deals 10 points of damage.

1) Bleak Falls Barrow during The Golden Claw or Dragon Rising
2) Learned from Greybeards in High Hrothgar during The Way Of The Voice main quest.
3) Learned from Greybeard after finding The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller.

Whirlwind Sprint


Using this Dragon Shout will enable you to dash forward, helping to access areas otherwise unavailable.

1) Learned from Greybeards in High Hrothgar during The Horn Of Jurgen Windcaller
2) End of Volskygge (you can scale the mountain to avoid going throught the dungeon).
3) Dead Men's Respite in Tending the Flames

You should add YouTube videos for each shout because I don't just know every location on skyrim

Just wondering, havent played Skyrim in a while but did Dawnguard add any new shouts?
