I do agree with Kobe though that why would you need to ship it to a friend why couldnt you fix it yourself? if so you should have stated who it was you were sending it to. Kobe, i recieved your slim from pirates i figured since you both could use a favorso i had him send it to me too inspect it and fix it.

I remember telling you guys its probably just a simple loose cable and come to find out it was just that. A ribbon cable was unclipped so proabably through transit it lossened up causing the open tray responce. I clipped it in took me no longer then 20 mins including reassembly ect.. and IT IS READING DISCS, COPYING MW3 VIA XEX MENU 100% FUNCTIONAL NOW.


I will be sending it back to pirates unless you guys want me to ship directly to one of you. I hope it helps both of you resolve the conflict
