I am learning about Shakespeare in class and my teacher said that people in the 1600s lived to the age of 30.
I found out that if you look back at the year 1-1435, a year was up to one day.
Did the so called 'government back then try to find out the perfect amount of days in a year.
We have had 365 days in a year since the 1840s.
People in the 1600s lived to around 30.
People in the 1700s lived to around 50.
People in the present live to an average of 80.
Well If you are 80, you live around 29,200 days. (365 days a year)
If you died around age 50 in 1700s, 29,200 days, but there are 584 days a year.
If you died around the age of 30 in 1600s, 29,200 days, there would be 973.33 days a year.
Could this really have happened?
Could people have thought a 'year' was 973 days? (1600s), or 584 (1700s), or 365 (Present) days.
Tell me what you think.

If you actually knew back then some famous people in the 1600s died at age '50' and had white hair, wrinkles, etc.

So some people were healthier than others. Does not change anything...

And those people were rich enough for sanitation. Now go compare the poorest of Americas lifespan to the richest of the 1600s.

It shows alot, knowing that people had the likelyness of coming up with a problem. Years in the 1600s were 973 days. 365 days wasnt iplemented until the 1840s.

Rated is correct they had no way of keeping people healthy very well. People even died of just a fever.
