I'm pretty sure it must be my hardware, but I want to see if there's anything I can do to fix this problem with recording. No matter what settings I selected, whether I included audio or not, my recording of Pokemon Ruby with Kazam was always choppy and messed up like this. I tried settings of 5,10,15,25,45,60 FPS, and nothing came out at a respectable quality. Can anyone help here? This particular recording was taken at 30FPS with no sound.

Furthermore, if this is a hardware problem, what do I need to upgrade to resolve it?

Try using Bandicam, it works fine and its smooth for me
