REGULATIONS
CIVILIAN REGULATIONS
Civilians only have one life, we feel this makes players think twice before doing things that would otherwise get them killed.
Explosives are off limits to all civilians, the only exception is the Sticky Bomb. Be creative.
All civilians are required to follow every law possible. Traffic Laws, Civil Laws, etc...
Do not antagonize the police officers, it's really aggravating when the police officers are trying to drive around and have a good time when a civilian purposely slings around the corner pulling, does a doughnut in front of the police department and then takes off, only to start a police chase. Instead of being realistic about the whole situation. Who do you know in real life that has seriously done that before?
All emergency response vehicles are off limits to civilians, no exceptions under any circumstances.
In actuality, all fully-automatic weaponry is off-limits to civilians, you may buy a Shotgun, Sniper Rifle, Pistol or Body Armor.
Civilians should be performing their and following the law at least 90% of the game and being civilize, police officers do not want to have to chase you the entire game. They would like a chance to role-play a little bit too, role-play isn't about the job you pick, it's about the way you interact with people.
POLICE OFFICER REGULATIONS
Do not fire upon suspects unless they point a gun at you, point a gun at another officer, point a gun at a civilian, run over another officer, attempt to run over you, attempt to run over a civilian, or fire their weapon. Be sure to get permission before shooting a suspect if the suspect doesnt do any of those things.
Unmarked vehicles can participate in pursuits, but must pull off and let marked cruisers pass.
The Taser should be announced before the shot is made in order for it to count. There is only one possible taser shot for that incident.
The only weapons a patrol officer can have are the pistol, combat shotgun and an P90.
An officer can not patrol in an unmarked vehicle without permission from the Commissioner and the Detective on patrol. An exception to this rule is members who are part of the Detective Bureau and are currently patrolling as a Detective.
The radio should remain clear at all times. Any extra comments are against the rules. This includes swear words and interjections.
Roadblocks and spike strips can only be set up with permission from the Commissioner.
Dispatching yourself to calls without permission from the dispatcher is against the rules. - Code 3's excluded.
You cannot cuff a crook if they have a weapon equipped.

What We Do
What Do We Do?
The LCPD is a role-playing clan on Xbox LIVE, we take place on both "Grand Theft Auto IV" as well as "The Ballad of Gay Tony" expansion pack for "Grand Theft Auto IV" and here is what we do, how we do it, the process you need to go through to join, our requirements and our policy for our rules, regulations, multi-clanning and everything else you need to know.
What we do, is very simple to explain and it's a very simple thing to do. Basically, we get up to 16 people in a game and each player will play the role of a citizen working in Liberty City. Whether that be a service clerk at Burger Shot, a construction worker, firefighter or even a police officer. Requirements aside, you can be who you want and what you want in our game.
When you are invited to our game, you will sit quietly in the lobby and wait for instructions from the Commissioner. He will tell you what island we're playing as well as what he expects from you in that game. When the game starts, usually five minutes after the time you spawn you will be asked to follow traffic laws and act like a real citizen. No shouting across the city to your friends, if you want to talk to them you will need to call them on their cellphone. We don't have any special things you need to do to acquire a cell phone, you automatically have it from the time you spawn.
If you would like to join our community, just go to the top of the page and click "Register" off to the right. Don't forget to register with your exact Xbox LIVE gamertag, otherwise you will not be accepted and you will not receive an application.
Our requirements for you to join are above.
As for our rules and regulations, it is your responsibility to take it upon yourself to read our rules and regulations which are also located here. Any rules broken from the time we receive your application will be given the full punishment for, you should be reading the rules before you even try to send in an application. It's always a smart thing to know what you're getting yourself into. By not reading the rules, you could be inadvertently signing a contract with an online signature that forces you to surrender your life to us. Obviously not possible, but it's just an example. So, remember - You will receive the full punishment for rules that you break. By the time you're accepted, you should know better.
Multi-Clanning is a big problem when it comes to clans and communities of this magnitude. The only problem we have with it is you joining other role-play clans on any other game for any other reason, the only role-playing clan you will be allowed in is ours. Want to role-play with a friend? Ask him to join the community. We do not have a problem with "battle-clans" however, clans that are usually on Call of Duty and Battlefield.

Rules
- Do not RSVP unless you know for sure, you will be able to make it to a patrol. The reason behind this is when you RSVP, we have you accounted for within the next patrol. We expect you to be there, we have certain things set up for certain scenarios when you RSVP that sometimes required an exact amount of players, if you do not show then we have to scramble around like chickens with their heads cut off to figure out something else. So, if you RSVP and then you know you're not going to be able to make it, give the Commissioner at least an hour and a half notice, to find a replacement.
-You may not participate in role-play games hosted by friends or other "agencies", If you would like to do a patrol, kindly ask a Commissioner to host a game, if they're not busy and get round up the members, they usually will not mind. If you are caught participating in an event not hosted by LCPD, you will be automatically suspended for 2 weeks.
- You may not be in other clans/groups, This rules is for security purposes and we heavily protect our secured information. Such as names and ages, if this information is taken or given without permission from the owner, it is a federal offense and you will be immediately removed from the clan and reported to Microsoft.
- Be an active recruiter, we do not have a special division for recruiting. So, all members of the LCPD will be required to bring in at least one recruit every couple of weeks. Ah, we know. This rules sucks, right? So, would this clan if we did not have the members.
- Be respectful, This rule applies at all times at any time, for as long as you are representing the Police Department of Liberty City, you are to remain respectful to everyone at all times. No racist, comments, jokes or interjections. No obnoxious noise-making, competitive arguments or ignorant ramblings. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and you are to respect their opinion, even if you do not agree with it. You may give your opinion. But, you are not to shove it down their throat. Do not start, instigate or continue arguments. If a player/member makes you angry, leave the game or party and notify a Commissioner and the problem will be dealt with immediately. Unless the person you are reporting is not apart of the clan, then the problem will have to just be ignored. We know this is Xbox LIVE, it's not an excuse for you to act like you were raised by an animal and act like an ignorant brat.
- Stay within boundaries, The only island that you will be allowed to play on is the island you spawn on. We will pick an island to play on that best suits the amount of players we have, whichever island we play one, you are to stay on.
- No Unauthorized Advertisement, We do not want you giving the wrong ideas or information to players who are interested in joining the clan. Because, if they join and the information you gave them is different than ours, their experience isn't going to be what they expected and that is not always a good thing.
