Why do you feel the need to capitalize the beginning letter of each word? It's hard to read and does not look good, at all. Anyways, if you mean 'graphics' as in creating a 100 x 100 pixel avatar for TTG, that's not really intensive. Browsing the web does not require a good video card - if this was a gaming oriented / workstation build, it would be different. I don't know if Asus is a huge brand in the UK or not, but they recently came out with their Ultrabooks ( the quote on quote competitor of the Macbook even though it's not a fair match up since the Mac is crap ). They are extremely portable, have the same battery as the Mac, above standard resolution, 128gb - 240gb SSD's and SB i7's in 'em. But if you want to go with a PC, you will get better performing / relatively same performance for quite a bit price difference and a lot more selection and be more customizable. A cheap i3-2100 / 128gb Crucial SSD matched up with a good MVA panel from Asus / Benq or a Dell IPS would look stunning.

I would prefer hp laptops more than anything because the vast upgrades that can be made on them when you are customization it when buying and it has built in beats audio which is very LOUD i think that the hp sight for uk would be hp . co i would assume just look at the pavilion

You don't need to pay 800 for a computer only for graphics. 800 would get you a good stable gaming rig.
Web and graphics you don't need a powerful GPU.

I would suggest building a PC.
If you don't know how to build a PC youtube will be your BEST friend. Its pretty easy even for a amateur
Building a pc will save you money and will allow more room for upgrades.
You could go for a i3 2100 or i5 2500k since the price will be cheaper since the IVY Bridges were just released.
I have a i3 2100 desktop at my house and it is a very powerful little guy

If you don't want to build a PC Asus has good laptops for the price. And as for desktops I don't really know as I don't usually look at pre built desktop pc's. Just stay away from a alienware Good luck and if you need any help PM me!
