During the 1950's, the United States was in a Cold War with the Soviet Union, for those who do not know that.

We came up with the Atomic Bomb then the Soviets did.

Next, Came the Hydrogen Bomb so the Soviets made there own.

People made Fallout Shelters incase the Soviets tried to bomb us.

Would you follow Bert the Turtles rules on how to survive an Atomic Bomb?

EDIT: The United States sent the Public Communication to the Public in 1951.

Hahaha 1950's America is so funny! But it's actually scary how this was taught to kids back then, the Atom bomb must have been a serious threat. It's kind of a shame they don't teach kids anything like this anymore, a bomb is always a threat.
