Introduction

MineCraft is a sandbox-building game developed by Markus Alexej "Notch" Persson, and now by Mojang.It is written in Java and was in its Alpha stage on May 17,2009.The player (you) or "Steve" is the main character in MineCraft.The game is more focused on creativity and building.Players can build by collecting materials in the Wilderness.



GamemodesThere are currently 3 gamemodes in MineCraft.

Survival-Survival mode is the default option when loading a map.
Its main focus is to survive and thrive by gathering resources in the wilderness, killing animals to restore hunger, and building crazy buildings.

Creative-Creative mode is a new gamemode implemented the "Adventure Update" or 1.8.Players can break blocks instantly, have unlimited resources, and no health to worry about.The player is also able to fly.

Hardcore-Hardcore mode is a gamemode introduced in beta 1.9 Pre-release 2 and officially implemented in MineCraft 1.0.On hardcore mode, players are given 1 life, and is played on the hardest difficulty.If the player dies on hardcore mode, the whole hardcore map gets erased.These is currently not a option for hardcore mode for Multiplayer.




MobsPigs-A Pig has pink skin, ears, and nose. Their eyes are one black and one white pixel, and they have a short, stubbed tail. Just like any other passive mob, with the exception of villagers, they are walleyed.Pigs are a renewable source of food because they drop approximately 0-2 pieces of raw porkchop upon death.Pigs can also be used as an uncontrollable way of travelling because you can place a saddle on them.Pigs are breedable.
