Ok so if you know what the old dx11's are there the x11 with a decoder box that improves the sound quality to 5.1 dolby digital. Now they replaced the x11 with the x12 for some reason to make more money.

The old dx11 came with a box that said "DSS"

The new dx12 comes with a box that says "DSS2"

My question is, will my old DSS box be compatible with the new dx12 headset?

I believe they are compatible, the x12 just added bass control and still requires the dss to convert it to 5.1. Like famous said, call turtlebeach with any questions. I'm not 100% sure but think it will work the same
