People complained they wanted different so they make it different then everyone complains about it being different :L

I vowed not to but the next CoD after MW3 because that was shocking.
Before you say 'BO2 is by Treyarc and MW3 is IW', I know it is still licenced by the same money grabbers. I think it looks nice though, my opinion might change when I see zombies, but then I will buy a second hand copy so no money goes to Activision.

How is it turning into Halo? You act as if Halo is the only futuristic game out there. There are plenty besides that. Also, if you did some information, it's basing off of futuristic warfare, maybe some 5 years from now. Halo is based centuries ahead, while Black ops 2 is about a decade from this year. There almost nothing similar to Halo in this game, besides the fact that there are future aspects. Also, half the game is consisted of flashbacks to Alex Mason in the 80s, another reason it won't be like Halo. You're not buying the game, because you've seen one reveal trailer, and assumed something completely irrelevant from the game. Planes with Rocket Things on them? What, is there something wrong with fighter jets? What other time period do you want. They've done almost every single major war, and even so, they are propelling into the future, and still satisfying players that don't want futuristic gameplay by implementing flashbacks.

Another point. Everyone is always complaining they want something new in the COD games. They give you something completely new and innovative, and you all hate it, complain it looks like Halo, and completely ignore the fact that there will be flashbacks to satisfy players that don't want futuristic gameplay.

I'd rather not have 'futuristic warfare', I think its fine with everything it has now, MW3, MW2, Black ops, They're all fantastic games but I think that this is just a no for me. But hey, if that's how you feel then that's fine with me.

Well I respect your opinion but I can't see why people are saying its starting to look like Halo. Do you see various alien creatures? Do you see super soldiers in armor that can jump 20 feet in the air? Do you see the planet being glassed?

Treyarch are being creative instead of retelling the same war story we have already played through. I mean would you have preferred Black Ops 2 to be in the same time as Black Ops 1. If it did then people would complain it was a copy and paste.

Besides only 1 trailer has released so give it time to show more gameplay
