So my xbox fell with my MW3 copy inside. I did not install it and it has a ring around the outsidish. If I rent a red box copy of the game and install it will my scratched copy still work for me? I was told yes and no, TTG you guys are smart help me out.

Yes, it should work i did that with WaW and Black ops.

I would first take it to a library, to see if they can fix it. If they cant then renting the copy might work.
