Okay, first guide... lets go.

So have you ever seen someone selling Custom Controllers? Such as Red-Tiger designs, or green/blue/red/orange/grey/pink? People pay alot for design, originality, and style. The thing is that they pay ALOT... So if you want to maybe start up a small business then this might work for you if you can get the job done properly

Some examples of what im talking about is as follows:

Okay, so now you've seen some examples.... How do people make those? EASY!
Here is a step-by-step process to complete your own custom controllers and xbox's.

1). Go to local hardware store and pickup a T8 Bit, because you need to disassemble your controller(if you choose to be extremely daring, and wish to possibly RUIN your controller then ignore this.
2). Once your controller is successfully taken apart, parts include: Front face plate(x1), Back face plate(x1), Battery pack(x1), then you need to think of your design. If you go into this process without thinking it out... it will get messy and most likely you will mess it up. So visit this great site to get your basic designs down.. they cost some money but it is DEFINITELY worth it [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

3). Pick the colors. Appearance is what we're aiming for so get bold, flashy colors to have fun. But the color process is the most tricky part. What youre going to need to do is go to Home Depot/True Value/Ace Hardware/ some hardware store that sells spray paint but not just any spray paint. You need Krylon Fusion For Plastic

This spray paint is special because it actually fuses with the plastic. So for a red tiger design pickup a bottle of black and a bottle of red or 2 of each to be safe... their like 5 bucks so this can add up.
4). The process of actually making the controller look good goes as follows: First start off by sanding the controller with like 2,000 grit sand paper with rubber gloves on [ WEAR RUBBER GLOVES FOR BEST RESULTS ] the reason for that is your hands have oil on it and the oil will conflict with the bonding of the plastic + paint. So once youve sanded it, lightly ofcourse wash the parts just for extra safety. So to make a red tiger design youre going to start off by spraying all the products with a thin coat of red krylon, once your thin coat has been applied to all the parts, wait 15 minutes, come back and do the same process until you have the desired deep color or light color for your controller. once its all sprayed let it dry for a hour - hour 30 minutes. after it has dried, then you can begin to lay down your tiger stripe designs you purchased from the link i posted earlier. with the tiger stripes layed down, bust out the black krylon and then spray all the parts black. now that all the parts are black... wait about a hour and a half come back to your parts and VERY VERY VERY carefully remove the tiger stripes that were painted black. you should see that now there's the red area the stripes were covering and now your xbox controller is **** red tiger! but its not over. this process, using layers makes the controller very smooth, and feel natural but it can still chip if you drop it on hardwoods, or something so to prevent that you run back to the store, and pickup Krylon Fusion For Plastic Clear Coat Matte

That makes your controller basically safe to drop, etc... if you have more questions feel free to comment, drop me a pm or something.

Also, please please check out the following links... They're amazing

Hm, not a bad idea. I will have to think about it. I have to buy all the things I need again, from the paint to controllers, LED's and such.

Nice, I don't have any money to buy anything and I know my parents won't buy them for me. Hm, but if you can wait a little when I try and get the money to buy the stuff I need then I will definitely be with you as a partner. It will be fun.

You have no reason to hate it, I love it to. I gave it to my girlfriend a few weeks ago, she loved. But sadly she broke up with me for another guy, lol. Oh well..
