if people have been banned then they obviously havent read the rules properly and in the introduce yourself topic that everyone makes people clearly say read the rules and follow them and if they dont then they will get what is coming to them!

easy question and easy answer people post in the general discussion because this section gets the most traffic what they dont understand is if everyone posted in the appropriate section then there would be an equal ammount of people viewing those part of the forums. Eventually everyones gonna either post in the right section (hopefully sometime soon) or there gonna lrn the hard way by your almight ban hamma and still end up posting in the right section if they do indeed comeback. a simple suggestion/test you guys can do is take the general discussion forum away for a few days and see how things will go. Sounds like a stupid idea but without an alternate section for the everyone to post in there will be no choice but to actually read through all the sub forums until they find the appropriate section to post in. No reason for anyone to get upset for being banned as it states throughout numerous parts of the site where to post aswell as the consequences

I feel the rules right now that you have posted are great. Its their fault for not reading. I love what you have down so far icy-tank a lot of members do but see people dont under stand 2 things

#1 Im going to post in GD because the right section is dead. Well the only reason why that section is dead. is because their all in GD if you take out those post and put it in the right section then the section will be active again.

#2 I love when people say its GD. Its is but also this site is a TECH site which means everything related to TECH.

But anyways Icy. Keep on doing what you are doing you are doing the right thing.

I agree with every point you have made here, and me, and loads of other members will agree with you for a fact.

A thing I am curious about is a couple of days ago, I witnessed this numberous times that people simply creating a topic asking why the bans had been issued and topics had been closed.

And they were recieving instant bans/IP bans within seconds for simply stating why this had happened ? Baring in mind this was before this topic was made : Forums/t=3667777/general-discussi...ssued.html

All I would just like is for a confirmation on why this ever happened and why all the topics were being deleted ? Thanks Icy-Tank.

Personally, I think you're doing what I would do if I were in your position.
Staff are capable of determining if a thread/post merits correctional actions.
If a member posts a superfluous and pointless thread, then they should be punished.
As you latterly stated, it's their own fault. They're just too stupid to realise it.
