I have a dazzle right now. It was a stupid mistake to buy it. PVR gives WAY better quality. If you have a S-Video cable it will improve a LITTLE

You can get an AVerMedia for about $150. It has basically the same quality as an hd pvr. If anything get that or an hd pvr.

really depends on what your wanting to record, but i have a HD Pvr. And that's what i started out with and i love it.

If you want to make videos for a long time, invest in a PVR because it will be worth it, trust me. If you got a Dazzle now but wanted to carry on then you would want to get a PVR then so you would have to pay more

HDPVR is better, but how much do you have to spend? How long have you been recording? Etc.
