I have never even heard of a dat file before. Pretty sure there is only .exs, ess, and .bat. And unlocking it with mods doesn't do anything (correct me if I am wrong). And please put the commands. Makes my job 10x easier. And faster.

Edit: Ahh never mind I am losing it today haha. bat its the thing you extract that contains the file rofl. silly me.
