-Related- wrote Why would someone send you a death threat because their topic got removed?

Cause they are immature 14 year olds who dont think before they act. If Icy wanted to he could bring them to court that a threat of violence.

Anyways back on Topic think this cuts down spam a bit and will make people start posting in right sections. Im new and notice member who joined like a year before me post stuff in the wrong sections kind of sad really.

Thanks Icy you just made my TTG experience better than it already was!

icy you are 100% right but there are other forums aswell that need to be watched over more for example call of duty 4 section with people asking for thanks.

thetechgame will always have leeches as there is no way of stopping it.

Icy-Tank wrote What's better, coke or pepsi? .... What does that have to do with a Gaming Community? It's been asked OVER 100 times in multiple threads.

I was really expecting this to say OVER 9000!

I agree with this post, but people will always spam. Perhaps changing the name from "General Discussion" to just "Discussion" might help tone it down a bit? I'm not sure, but something about the word "General" seems to make people think they can do whatever they want.

well i do agree with the closing the topics which are just pointless e.g "which is better coke or pepsi?". but i think we should be able to post about og gamertags because it is to do with gaming. To summarise i agree with most of what you are saying but disagree with afew things.

ps. wow are people really that immature to send you death threats?

Going by the Subjects posted in General discussion of late it is no wonder people get annoyed with the site. The quality of topics post are infantile and have absolutely no relevance to why we are on TTG. staff are there to monitor the forums to the best of their ability and I see no reason to argue with any of them if they close Topics or delete comments posted. There are millions of other forums out there where people can go talk about whatever they wish so maybe google a forum then go join it. The childish topics need to stop and I am happy to see that Admins and the other staff have taken actions to prevent this.

I wish to type more but I have a reputation to think of lol.

Personally I totally agree with what you have done, I only hope it continues on with you and other staff members. The punishment seams kinda tough but Im not staff so can't make that choice. Some members here say they read the rules but truly have not, and should be punished for not following them, question is how harsh.

I think everyone knows this is by far the most popular forum on TTG, therefore everyone wants to post here so there topic can be seen. I also know several people have posted in other forums and after 2-3 hours never get their question answered, so they post in this forum and get 5-10 answers within 1 minute. So again it makes people want to post here even more although most know its the wrong place.

That's my thoughts on this whole discussion, personally I think the staff here does a great job. It does kinda seam that you were the main staff member closing topics, and people thought you were just being well you know what I mean.

Rules are meant to be followed. If you drink and drive for the first time a cop is not going to say, It's ok go ahead and drive home and not punish you for not following the rules of the road.

What does contracting pink eye have anything to do with technology or gaming? If you have pink eye, go to the doctors or look it up on medical websites - not here. There are things which should be discussed on site and things which are irrelevant and add no meaningful discussion, your thread falls into the latter.
