Yeah its looks like halo a BIT but the campaign, multilayer isn't the same plus halo doesn't have the greatest horde mode in the world 'zombies'. I will still get Black ops 2 because the campaign and zombies in the first one was so good! They have also added horses because it is something different and the campaign is split in two, one half in the future, one in the past.

-The Ospery looks like something from Halo, but Bell and Boeing (people who made the aircraft) thought about using swiveling jets like in Black Ops 2 until it was found that they didn't have a good fuel-used to thrust ratio when compared to rotors.
-The army is developing a HUD system that is like a stripped down version of the Battlefield HUD and it's only like 7-10 years from being Mass produced last time i checked. Along with newer materials to make armor out of like spider silk. (as ridiculous as it sounds!) The arm band that David Mason is wearing is already possible now, it's just never gained popular use with consumers.
-Raytheon Sarcos is making an Exosuit for soldiers to wear. It could be mass produced today if they could find a way to have an internal power supply!
-The quadrotors are not real but there are many things like them to my knowledge that can do all the same things and are in limited use today.
-The mini-tank drones aren't that far fetched it's literally a beefed up version of an EOD bot!
-The passenger jet isn't far fetched the airline companies just haven't made prototypes because there is no market or need for it right now.
-The holographic displays are possible today, just expensive in my knowledge. There's a video of a holographic Tupac somewhere on youtube.
-The different "predator" drones are all based on current prototypes.
-The only unrealistic thing i see is the C.L.A.W. mech, i say this because the army determined that a mech has many more disadvantages when compared to an Abrams tank. But mechs are possible.
-All of the high tech stuff you see like the highway signs are being implemented today!

Wrapping this long post up, i don't expect you to research all of this, but i would expect you to if your gonna go on a rant! This tech is all closer than you would think! By 2018 it is expected that computers will have the same computing power as the human brain! Amazing stuff right!
You also have to realize that when Halo came out in 2001, that all of that tech was thought to be hundreds of years away! But 11 years later and look how much of it we are on the verge of having. They didn't even have smartphones then!
Does anyone here remember when the RAZOR phone was what everyone had and/or wanted? And now everyone wants Iphones, no one ever thought that those would happen! In the end, Halo is what people in 2001 thought the future in 500 years would be. But the reality is that all of that technology and much more is going to be available to us within the next 10-20 years!
Just to give credit for what i've listed, i spend countless hours researching random things like this stuff when i have time and i read a lot of Popular Science and Popular Mechanic! It's amazing what i learn, i could go on and on, but i won't now

It does not look like halo, in anyway at all.

People need to stop posting that it does or id doesnt.

If anything the only thing they copied are the guns.

Never Played Gaylo so i cant tell . But the Campaign is set in the future so as the world turns new things come out so it makes sense for it to look the way it is . My oppinion will come on the 13th of November when im actually playing the thing
