I used to be on the General Discussion a lot more before.
Then all these dumb topics like "RATE MY OG 1/10" began to appear and I am not on this site as much as I used to.
Seeing how you have to IP ban people for being so close minded,it seems the issue has gotten out of hand.

The large amount of posts that come into the general discussion which belong to other sections just starts up a vicious circle. People know that answers come quickly in this section, even if it doesn't belong here. This means sub forums do not get used so when someone does actually follow the rules, they sometimes never get a reply if they post in the correct section, which is unfair on their behalf, but then also encourages them and others, to post it in General Discussion. As you can now see this will keep happening and if the bans don't come down, like they have been (which I am supporting) then soon TTG might as well be one section where everything gets posted and is full of leeches.

Now days for me, I have probably started using the report button more than the reply, which shouldn't be the case. It seems to me that people are seeing "General Discussion" as "Post Anything Here" Section, this baffles me.

To conclude, I support you, and all the other staff that look after the site and try their hardest to stop the rubbish that does happen. Keep up the good work and hopefully someday we will see a "clean" TTG.

well why did is camtasia or fraps better get blocked u contardict ur self a tiny bit i support ur blocking and deleting topics because people with good topics are staright to bottom of the page and they deserve the top where more views and posts will be available stop spammers ive been banned for it on this account and i understand now sorry TTG

Isn't the whole idea of General Discussion to be about anything? I mean in the description, it says "this is where everything goes if we don't have a forum for it" - You don't have a forum for rate my gamertag or coke or pepsi so why isn't it allowed?

So you're basically saying that whatever is posted in General Discussion has to do with gaming? Pretty lame if you ask me. Then again, you guys know what's best and I'm not on this site as much as I used to be.

Some people just need to be banned no matter where. But its the way/steps taken before a IP ban is put in place.
One thing i've notice between this site and another one is that every time i get into a lobby in TTG the players
are all mostly squeakers and the other site not so much at all.
