Your probaly gonna get this alot but you should go for an Intel build its gonna be better over all. But that seems like a pretty good computer to me.

I don't see how that is possible. AMD has been getting crushed by Intel in the CPU market for years now. AMD's new FX chips ( aka Bulldozer ) are really bad. They are around the same price as Intel ( i3-2100 for $120 ) but when it comes to performance, they crap out. It's not even a true quad core chip. I don't know what else to say but to say they are just bad and I would highly suggest against it.

Here's AMD's highest end CPU at the moment - the 8150 ($240). It costs more money compared to a $120 i3-2100 and it barely pulls away in benchmarks. Now, if you compared this to one of the best CPU's out at the moment, the 2500k, it's a complete blowout. But back to the build, this is not really good for $1,600 - obviously I don't know the whole configuration, but I can only assume it's some cheesy PSU that is doomed to fail.

Cheaper, better performance, includes a genuine copy of Windows 7, a 750w Corsair PSU that is rated gold and is fully modular, a z77 board from ASRock that allows great upgrade options, and a standard HDD. You could add a Intel 510 SSD ( 120gb ) and it would still be under the budget you listed.

This would be even cheaper if you put it together yourself instead of paying $100's of dollars for someone else to do it.

I'm switching from xbox gaming to pc, and i think i'm going to be trying something similar to the l3p d3sk if anyone's heard of that. I'll be ordering the components from newegg, which will be cheaper, and i think i'll go with an i5 2600k in the end.
