It's limited because of the amount of ram the Xbox can use, if it was unlimited it would lagg the game so much you wouldn't be able to play on it

Thats why PC has unlimited world render, because it can hold alot more.

I hope they do Update it and make it infinitive like the PC version. If not then my project will have to be thrown out of the window.

It's there so the xbox doesn't get pushed to it's limit, and make the game un-playable.

If you have ever played on a server with a huge map you will notice the server takes a noticeably longer time to return data to you. Mining will take longer to register, and the same goes for placing blocks. That is on much higher end hardware than what the xbox offers.


Unless you want to play on a server that highly unplayable, you will have to deal with the limited size map.

There may be ways around once people get into the map files, and see if they can push out the boundary, but only time will tell.
