I bought a brandy new xbox 360 slim controller and it broke it took it back and got another one but, when i got home they had given me
A old black xbox controller that wont connect to my slim.
I Have a warranty on it can i go back and exchange it for a new slim one or?
The reason i ask is i dont want to look like a idiot for not knowing gamestops laws
ex: bought MW3 Sold it a month later 19$

Okay, I'm a night manager because our store will be 24/7 from now on.
Go with your receipt and tell them that you got the wrong controller and they'll gladly exchange it for a small fee or no fee it depends on the price differences.
if you need anything else I will gladly help.

Ok so when i got the slim one(first one) i had it for about 1 month with the warranty as well. and the joystick had popped out and wouldnt work, At this point i was like Good thing i bought a warranty, And then i received the used not connecting controller. If i were to bring it back with the warranty will they give me the slim one that i have paid more money for?

How long has it been since you bought it? How long does the warrant state it will last? If anything my store would end up charging you the fee for the price difference and then we would reward you a free membership to game informer for the stick breaking.

They'll be happy to exchange it for one that's compatible. Just remember to bring the receipt.
