Yawn wrote Seriously... what was the point of combining all of the call of duties into one section? It was fine how it was before, this was a terrible decision. The worst part is that they combined all of the modding sections into one general modding section for all of the games. Now the modding section is going to get flooded with tons of fake lobbies from MW2.

4 huge areas for call of duty most of them were dead forums people would spam MW2 modding in MW3 to get views

Call of duty 4 and WAW are a mess and i want to save these forums and put them back to what they should be
But now do we post everything about the game like glitches and spec ops in GD or what?? It doesn't make since to me cause it will be jammed full of random stuff

Glitches don't have a big following anymore they are patched quickly it wont take us a moment to create a forum for glitches but we are trying to get away from stuff like that

the reason for this change is call of duty was taking up a HUGE chunk of the forum index 70% of the forums were dead if they are not being used we will remove them

we are not finished setting out rules and sticky threads yet

If Halo can live with one forum call of duty can live with 11

TTG_Infect_v8 wrote Should be an Activision and an Infinity Ward Cod section, Example: COD 4, Mw2, Mw3 in one shared section,
Cod waw, BO, and BO2 in another, so We get some control.

But what about games that are created by 3rd partys as well? You still have to give them credit, just look at MW3, it was created by more than one dev.

Im saying, The series (Modern warfare, Black ops) should have a shared Forum, maybe Waw should join Call of duty 1 - 3. Could be easier, because its Going after producers and the type (WW's and New wars)

I honestly didn't get anything you just said. Are you saying you're going to separate the sections again?

No, he's saying that he didn't like the fact that there were 4 separate forums for each of the call of duty games so he combined them all into one since most of them were dead.

Understood your point of view helps to make more since I will grow use to it in a couple of days.

I agree with this change being rediculous.

Sean how would combining the threads reduce the spam? now that they are combined, all of the spam will be forced into one section for everyone to see. I am missing how that solves the problem. it only condenses the amount of trash people will have to sift through to find what they are looking for.

please enlighten me on your higher reasoning im sure im missing something

I feel it was a good decision because nobody used most of the call duty sections, only popular are modding and general discussion.
