The new Xbox isn't coming out for like another 2 - 3 years, they've announcing it next year not this year. I'd recommend the new Xbox Slim it has built in Whisper quiet, it still has the same 802.11N router as the adapter but built in. Bigger memory and sleek design.

I would just buy the adapter and wait for the new xbox to come out.

I bought the 4gb slim and a hardrive off ebay seperate total=254 for a 250gb hd and the new slim you can sell your old xbox for about 100 on craigslist once you buy a new one so you only spend about 150

true true but i bought the slim anyways cuz my xbox was always over heating lol and the wifi adapters are hard to find cheap but find a used one i got mine for 30

I just heard the adapter sucks.
Idk, I guess I'll just buy it, and if I don't like it then buy a new slim 250gb.
