Im pretty sure any decent laptop would be able to run Minecraft & maybe TF2. Not too sure about BF3&CoD though. You may need to use low settings.
But yeah. Save for the PC ;)
I will be getting a PC in the future as well as a laptop. It's just that the desktop I want will cost 1000 GBP which I can't afford at the moment so I want a decent laptop that I can use till I get the money. I doubt I'd bother ever playing COD or BF3 on the laptop when i get the PC, will just use it for browsing, watching films and playing games that aren't graphics intensive.

Right, I didn't expect to be able to play BF3 with it just put it in the list for the hell of it. If I do want to play graphics intensive games in the future I'd hopefully have the desktop I want for that, the laptop will just be for portability and casual gaming.
That's just what I'd want really, being able to play games such as COD4 and Minecraft with good FPS.

Like I said, I want a laptop as well for the portability. Just don't have the extra 550 GBP to spend at the moment and just want a decent laptop whilst I get the money.

Why does everyone call a desktop a PC? That has always confused me :\
I had a sony vaio with alot worse specs than that, I played minecraft, cod and CS:S on it.
