No way in hell Rodgers is one of the best ever. Not yet anyways. Give him another 4-5 years. Then, and only then, can people make that assumption. Manning, Brady, and Brees have all done something special throughout their careers. Not only, did they all three turn franchises around, but their individual efforts go unmatched by anyone else.

Manning, everyone seems to think he was the #1 pick in '98, but really he wasn't. He was #2 by IND. SD got #1 overall, and chose Ryan Leaf, who became IMO the biggest bust in NFL history. After he got to IND, the team immediately changed, and eventually won a Super Bowl in '06. Since Manning was drafted in '98, the Colts have never been the same.

Brees, drafted #1 in the second round in 2001, pick 33 to the Chargers, he won the starting job in SD, but was taken away from him after a poor effort in an 8-8 season. After some years in SD, he eventually went to the Saints, where he turned that franchise upside-down. They won the Super Bowl in 2009, defeating Manning's Colts.

Brady, drafted in the 6th round, 199th overall pick by the New England Patriots. He was by far the best QB taken in that draft, considering he went at 199. He started out as a third string QB in New England, but quickly made his way to a back-up to Drew Bledsoe. After an injury to Bledsoe took place, Brady quickly made an impact for the Patriots, and ultimately, led to 3 Super Bowl championships, and an undefeated regular season in '07.

Once Rodgers does anything to solidify his legacy as one of the best ever, I'll stop hating on him.

I agree with you. Just doing good for a couple years doesn't classify you as one of the best. Eli Manning does better than Rodgers and he's not one of the best ever.

The Packers in general weren't a team that was crap and then turn out to win the Super Bowl, their defense was always built well. Rodgers really got carried to the playoffs and you could say Super Bowl because of his #1 defense. The team got in on a wild card and then Rodgers started to do well. In the regular season, he was a decent QB. Not the best but not the worse. But once he entered the playoffs, he changed.

So you could say from the '11 Postseason until the '12 Regular season was the biggest part of his career. He hasn't done consistently well for multiple seasons and all season. Rodgers just turned out to be terrible in the '12 Postseason. He threw four picks against the Giants and the Packers had so many fouls in their favor. I still don't know how Jennings was down by contact when he really fumbled the ball.

Definitely, I'm not saying he's a sh*t QB, but he's definitely not top 5 in the league. Last regular season was relatively good for Rodgers, 45 TD passes says a lot about that, but you gotta think, how many play making receivers does he have? The world is open to Rodgers with his targets, where as you look at guys like Brady or Brees that have one or two guys they can throw to consistently, and Rodgers has one of the best receiving corps in the league, and yet Rodgers is MVP last year? Brees holds the record for passing yards in a season, set and broke last year with two good targets on the offensive side of the ball, and all he gets is offensive player of the year? Really? If my memory serves me right, Brees wasn't one-and-done in the playoffs, and yet Rodgers is still better according to every analyst.
