So, i have bought Minecraft and it lags all over the place i cant see why i have seen people with much worse laptops than me play the game with no lag at all! Even when they're recording they have less lag than me!

My laptop isn't to bad i can understand why minecraft wont work! I can play MW3 on extra high settings!

Does anyone know how to get rid or at least reduce lag?

Any help would be appreciated

Go onto options and then video options. Put the running specs down and it should run smoothly

Its a custom one i made, but i have tried on a default texture pack too.

Under video settings, make your performance to power saver, not max fps. It should help and you could also probably change your render distance up to small or normal.

Still didnt work! Im going to uninstall single player commands and install optifine
