Hello guys,
i have been looking around for computers, i have found one i like for 400
it is another 85 to have windows 7 installed, where as i could do it at home and save myself 85 through a free online download.
i have installed Linux previously, but this is very simple to install and it has a program automatically spotting and downloading drivers for my PC and know windows doesnt have this, bearing in mind this is a custom PC, i am not too sure how easy it'll be.
so anyone that has done this before please let me know, i would like to know if you think it is possible and some other things appart from the actuall installation of the disc this involves?
thanks
Liam

Windows 7 is pretty easy to install, from there just google your parts drivers and get them there. Done.

All you do is burn the Win7 torrent, preferably 64 bit and reliable. Once done, you either insert an appropriate sized DVD-R or USB drive and burn the image onto there and install it on the custom build - DVD drive should be a priority at default. After that, it will follow the same instructions as a legitimate copy of Windows and you would have to download drivers regardless.
Imagine you have a GTX 560 ti, you go to Nvidia and download the drivers for 560 ti.
Same goes with the MOBO and SSD ( if you have one ). Never use the drivers from the disc since they are outdated and may cause problems down the road.
