What are the differences between the pc and xbox versions of minecraft. I am likely getting it for xbox instead of pc and i know that the xbox version isnt all the way up to date with the computer but what else besides that is different. Are the worlds bigger or anything like that?

The worlds are smaller and the whole crafting interface is completely different.

Xbox has a few differences like there are not certain things in it yet that were PC.
They will come in updates though (most likely).
Seeds are also different (for the most part).
Thats all I noticed.

Oh, and no mods and creative, YET.

There's a LOT of differences but the basics:
-Map sizes on XBOX are limited to 1024x1024x128
-Ocelots, mooshrooms, enderman, silverfish, blazes, magma cubes not in the game yet.
-Lots of items not in the XBOX version (enchantment stuff, newer items, pistons, etc)
-FREEZING a LOT on xbox.

Well the here's a few

Crafting different
Mods / texture packs
Smaller worlds
Missing some mobs and items
And no creative, I think

But most importantly no mods. Mods make minecraft so much fun especially on server. No world edit, no essentials, just no plugins in general.

How much smaller are the maps compared the pc. Signifigantly so that it ruins the game or not so and could they be bigger as more updates come? Are the updates free? And how much better and smoother is the xbox over pc of vice versa
