I want to mute every one in game on games like Call of Duty without muting every single person or turning the actual game volume down, since loads of people swear online and I don't like that :|

just go to voice on your settings and put it down to 0

Orrrrrr . you could edit family settings to where you can only talk to people that are in your friendslist .

Check out family settings on the dashboard
and change chat to friends only , that makes it so when you enter a game or party it mutes everyone automatically

I tried changing the in-game volume and it worked, I couldn't hear the six year olds
